You rest your hands on my hips
Lingering in your kiss
The taste of summer on your soft lips
A rose gold sunset reflects in your eyes
My breath deepens as I feel my chest rise
The ocean glitters gold like your sun bleached hair
We know these still, sun soaked moments are precious and rare
A harbor seal peers at me from his rock dwelling
I drift into a daydream as you begin storytelling
His curiosity is evident, in his wide, dark eyes
The smell of kelp and ocean salt still clings to my thighs
My appetite for life grows as I dream of avocado trees,
Of farmer’s markets and seagulls venturing out to sea
Jasmine’s aroma captures my heart
And from my fingertips falls brightly colored art
